official from the department of transportation and they have crews treating the road because they are afraid of the overnight freeze. >> thank you very much. you can see more pictures sent in from our crews and your neighbor's right now on wjla.com. >> we're following a breaking news story in calvert county where a truck rented a school bus. these are live pictures right now over the scene. police say the school bus was making a stop when a fedex truck plowed into it. four students were on the bus at the time. one student and the driver were taken to hospital. the injuries were non-life- threatening. the cause of the accident is still under investigation. word of a fight a talk about

that led to a stabbing this afternoon. police say three men got into an argument causing one and to spot -- to stab the other. the talk about was closed for a short time while police investigated. no word on and the arrests so far. >> new information on a story first saw here. we're learning more about the man suspected of killing his neighbor during an argument over dog feces. his excuse -- he's accused of stabbing his neighbor to death and their are work and -- there is more information about the case today. >> just moments ago, he pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder. his lawyer said there was not enough evidence to show the intended to kill this man and the judge decided to hold him

without bond. >> he was walking his friend's dog when his neighbor became angry because he claimed the dog defecated of his property. an argument ensued and he stabbed him to death. >> it breaks my heart to see this go on. i feel he is totally innocent. >> he was an active volunteer for a dc county can't get it. he says he didn't have a leadership role, but the campaign has had more than 100 volunteers. >> nothing ever gave me an indication he could do anything like this. >> according to sources, he has acted out before. just a couple of weeks ago he is said to have lost his temperature -- lost his temper during a conversation became

utterly and disruptive that was escorted off the premises. he has been charged with assault at least five times that in 1997 was fired by the department of public works after he got into a physical fight with a supervisor. >> [unintelligible] >> the victim was an only child. he loved sports and was unemployed. meanwhile, he will appear in court for a hearing on the 15th. >> thank you for that update. abc man is in custody after a wild attempt to avoid being arrested. the suspect tried to shoplift from a safe way and to get away in a stolen car. authorities say he drove on the sidewalk in an attempt to run from police and then ditched the car and ran on foot.

police arrested the suspect a few blocks away. >> a cafeteria worker faces kidnapping and robbery charges to write. investigators say the 48-year- old to a taxi to the hospital and asked the cab driver to wait. he allegedly went inside pulled out a knife and demanded that a manager open the safe. when she did not know the conference -- the combination, he tried to load the safe and the taxi. >> let's go to a developing story right now in what some would call a creepy crime. police are looking for a man who is going to goodwill stores, showing sexually explicit photographs to unsuspecting children. we've got more on this disturbing story. >> police and got a description of the suspect for customers to say they saw the man showing

pictures on his cell phone to a little girl. by the time witnesses got the store personnel to tell what they saw, the suspect and her mother and left the store. >> that is how every customer we talked with felt what we told them what happened late last week. the store's manager said he called police after a woman told her a bad had shown that his child pornographic images on his cell phone. >> he knows where the toy section is that he loves to go to the toy section while i'm looking around. he's 8 years old, but it bothers me that someone could approach him. >> police say the suspect and a victim's left the store. they fear the suspect may have done this before. they believe he has that one

over the second amendment. >> very few people in the state of maryland have the right to carry a concealed weapon. this is a very busy shooting range, but people who come here have to transport their guns of loaded. this ruling today could pave the way for many more people to be able to carry a loaded gun. >> like many of the shooters here angela was like to be able to carry her hand gun for self- defense. >> if people rob, steal kill, i'm scared to travel with my money. >> but under current marilyn rules, her request to carry a gun has been denied several times because in the view of the maryland state police, she did not prove a substantial reason for a carry permit. today, a federal judge blew a

several families filed a lawsuit against the state of virginia. instead of accepting a settlement, the suit claims the school waited too long to tally government about -- to tell students about the gunmen on campus. a judge has capped any possible settlement that $100,000. the victims of the deadly midwest tornados have to deal with snow. survivors had to shovel away several inches of snow before digging through the rubble of their ruined homes. officials say the snowfall has not only slow down the clean-up but it is concealing hazards. the storm system spawned 42 tornadoes. 39 people were killed. >> what an awful situation. >> that and the country will see a significant warm-up.

around here, we will see a warm- up as well. >> i want to show a time lapse. starting after 2:00, patches of blue sky and then some snow showers went through the area. for a few minutes, it looked like a miniature blizzard. that has moved off to the east. we're still going to have a chance of a sprinkle or light sharper. then we will see clear skies tonight and colder temperatures. 40 degrees in honey town. radar shows some areas of rain and there could be a few snowflakes but it's all moving out of the region. in its place will be clearing skies.

the farther south and east you go, a lot warmer. some patches of cold weather to the northwest. that is the next area high pressure that will build in. low 20s by morning. this high pressure will move in and move out and when that happens, there will be noticeable warm-up. this morning, a narrow swaths but significant snowfall and out by pressure will build and we will be good to go. a cold start today and tomorrow but we will warm up. tsk we will be near 60 degrees and close to 70 on thursday. date changes on the way. partly cloudy skies and temperatures about 35 degrees.

>> a federal judge has ruled the maryland handgun law is unconstitutional. the judge shot down requirements for gun buyers to give good reasons for carrying a concealed weapon. gun rights activists say it infringed on their second amendment right to bear arms. >> we have information tonight about the raid on the office bbc contractor. it is one of the largest donors to city politicians and tonight they are talking about the raid and their relationship with thompson. we've got more on this story from the wilson building. >> there must be some discomfort at city hall after last week's raid on geoffrey thompson. they do not know who the feds are targeting. it could be just about anyone from the mayor on down. >> if there were any questions and answer came with the fbi
